Our team at La Jolla Dental Wellness Center is made up of professionals who enjoy getting to know the people who walk through our doors. Each member of our team plays a role in helping patients feel supported and well cared for, whether they're visiting for routine dental care, gum disease treatment, dental implants, cosmetic dentistry, or oral surgery. By working closely together and sharing our experience across these areas, we're able to provide coordinated dental care for patients throughout La Jolla, CA and the surrounding areas.
Crystal Limon, RDH
Registered Dental Hygienist
I received a Bachelor of Science degree in Dental Hygiene from the University of the Pacific, Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry in San Francisco, in June of 2015. During my time in dental school I had the opportunity to volunteer in clinics providing care for underprivileged patients; those experience helped me to realize the importance of educating people in maintaining proper oral hygiene. In treating some severe gum disease cases I was able to see the overall health benefits gained from attaining and maintaining good oral hygiene.
I enjoy working with all our patients and helping them to those ends while utilizing all the education and skills I’ve acquired from school, treatment experience and from working with Dr. Kim, Dr. Bae and our very knowledgeable Staff. When I’m not in the office providing dental care I like to spend time with my family; I love going to the movies, watching sports (especially soccer) and playing with our family pets, a Siberian Husky and a Toy Poodle.
Cathy Hernandez, RDA
Office Manager and Registered Dental Assistant
I am an office manager and registered dental assistant in La Jolla with a passion for delivering exceptional patient care. With a background in medical assisting in nursing homes, I bring compassion, efficiency, and a strong understanding of patient needs to every aspect of the practice.
I oversee daily operations, support the clinical team, and help ensure each patient has a smooth and comfortable experience. I value building genuine connections and creating a positive, welcoming environment.
Outside of work, I enjoy caring for my birds, dogs, and cats, which reflects my nurturing personality and love for helping others.
